"Buddy" and the Milner family

After doing a lot of research on all the breeders for Rottweiler’s we chose Denise.  Before we got our puppy Denise helped us with all our questions and was there for us anytime we needed her.  She mentioned to us that she had a 1 day old litter.  We decided to get a puppy from that litter and told her that we were wanting a boy.  There were several boy puppies and she already had in mind the one that would be best for our family.  All I can say is that he is a PERFECT match for us.  We went to pick him up on November 16, 2008 and met his daddy.  WOW! What a great looking and well behaved dog! We just knew that our puppy would be really good looking with a great temperament.  We named him BUDDY but we call him BUTTERS because he is sweet and soft.

We brought him home and he just fit right in.  We never had any issues with him being crate trained and by the age of 4.5 months was fully potty trained. It is so cute because he will sit at the back door when he needs to go potty and if we don’t see him right when he sits there he will lay across the bottom of the door until we let him out.

We found out that he really loves country music so when he sleeps at night he has his radio tuned into the country station playing all night long. In the morning he would be in his kennel and my alarm clock would go off and he would sit up.  Then when I hit the snooze and lay back down then he would lay back down.  Then my alarm clock would go off in 10 min and he would sit up again.  Once again I would hit the snooze and lay back down and he also would lay back down.  This would go on for about 4 times until I finally got up.

We have a four year old daughter “Kayla” that just adores Buddy.  She can give him a command like “SIT” and he will obey her.  When she goes up to him and scratches him on his face you can see it in his face and body language that he is very cautious and humble toward her.  When we put Kayla to bed he is right there with us as part of the family.  He will go up to her bed and she will pet him and say goodnight.  He will go to the bottom of the bed and just sit there or go to her little pull out couch and sit on it like he was a human.  It is the cutest thing.

He loves to always be touching us whether it be in the morning while we are getting ready and he is laying on my husbands feet or at night sitting in front of us while we are watching tv so we can love on him. The puppy park is another thing he loves.  He has never been aggressive toward another dog or person.  He will sniff at the dogs and go right up to the people and when they start to pet him they have made a friend for life.  We then have to call him to us so the people can continue with their walk or buddy would stay there as long as they pet him.

I could go on and on about Buddy’s great temperament or how cute he is but I will leave you with this.  He is the best dog we have ever owned and we will not hesitate to refer any of our friends to Denise for one of her pups and when the time comes for another puppy in our life we will always go to her.

"Behr"

Rinehart's El Dorado Royale

Our family made the decision to get a puppy when our 9 year old rescue Rott was diagnosed with cancer. Because it was such an important decision emotionally and financially, we contacted many good breeders and did a lot of research. When we first started corresponding with Denise, I was immediately impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. We got fast responses and information that is factual and truthful. She helped us make decisions based on what was best for our family and our future dog. In June 2009, our Behr came home. His registered name is Rinehart's El Dorado Royale and his pedigree is exceptional. In terms of Rottweiler breed standards and temperament, we could not have asked for a more wonderful dog. He is getting ready for showing in conformation and is admired by all who meet him for his exceptional good looks. Just as important is his steady, balanced attitude towards other dogs, children, and any situation he is faced with. In fact, he is about to complete his Canine Good Citizen test at just under 6 months. His intelligence and working drive are exceptional and I have good reason to hope for both conformation and working titles for him. All of these facts are wonderful, but these traits don't fully tell the story of our boy who is, above all, a family member. His love for our family is amazing and returned to him 100%. When I look into his sweet face, I know that thanks to using an ethical and knowledgeable breeder, I have the dog of my dreams and the dog of my heart. Big thank you to Rinehart Rottweilers and my special friend in Texas, Denise!

"River"

My name is Jason Owens and I purchased a rott from you about 4 yrs ago.  I am emailing you to give you an update on how River is doing.  River just turned 4 on, I believe the 19th of Dec, just a few days ago.  He has been a very healthy dog. River has  become quite a famous dog around Boulder.  I run a retail fly fishing shop here in town and River has become our official greeter.  Kind of like the folks who meet and  greet at Wal-Mart, but he slobbers a little more!  He has an amazing temperament and makes new friends everyday.  He now has a group of customers who come into the shop just to see him.    He's probably one the few dogs in town that has his own fan club.  I don't know if I mentioned in my last email, but he goes to work with me everyday, so socialization and lots of love are 2 of my main ingredients!

"Rebel"

Rinehart Rottweilers was a good fit for me.  I found Denise after researching breed excellence and solid rottweiler health lines.  Losing 3 rotties within a 2 year span to cancer and a brain tumor was devastating.  I felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest.  Denise was so wonderful, patiently listening to the many questions I had with regards to health clearances and longetivy for the Harmony and Max litter.  This litter was extremely compatible and produced a fabulous boy, Rinehart's Black River Rebel V Magnus, better known as Rebel in our household.

Rebel has wriggled his way right into my heart and is the heart glue I needed.  Arriving to pick him up proved to be a very emotional experience.  Smart as a whip 'green boy' climbed up onto my lap stretching to put slurpies all over my face.  Tears streaming down my face, I knew he was the one going back home.  Ironically, Denise had already chosen him for me.

A very intelligent boy, Rebel learns at such an incredible fast pace.  He has just debuted in the Rally ring.  He produced a score of 95 on Saturday and 97 on the consecutive Sunday, winning 2nd place in his class.  A fabulous debut performance, he enjoyed his just rewards of a new toy -- perfect for a 17 month old boy.  He absolutely loves the role of a 'worker bee' and I am awestruck with his fabulous work ethic. The sky is the limit with this boy!

His eyes are so expressive as he listens intently to every direction.   He is so gentle with our 3 year old grandson -- who still refers to him as 'puppy'. Rebel has a fantastic demeanor, giving all of his heart and energy in everything he attempts.  He has brought so much happiness to our family that I can never put into words what it means to have Denise trust our family to raise this wonderfully handsome and intelligent boy!  We have been so blessed...Thank you Denise...
